Good
Spa area was lovely & clean really enjoyed it. Bar & restaurant are really good, food was great & all the staff are warm & welcoming!!
We stayed in room 5 it was beautifully clean but quite run down, massive stain on carpet, most of the walls had big marks on them, front of the bath board is rotten & seal on shower screen moldy. Our stay was only let down by the room. For the price we expected the room to be better

What was the highlight of Rowton Hall Hotel and Spa
A patch of serene calm near a bustling city.
My second stay here and the staff go above and beyond, the room was spacious and well-decorated, the grounds are extremely well kept with lovely outside patio spaces, the spa facilities are superb. I had a bath in my room which is quite unusual these days in a hotel. I had bar food which was very good. I like that you can choose from the fabulous restaurant menu but eat it in the bar area. I tweaked my meal with mix and match and the chef was very accommodating in this respect.
The only imperfect thing was that due to personal preference, I couldn't find a pillow amongst the four in the room which suited my neck, so slightly uncomfortable.

Loved it when in Chester working this is my go to hotel
Just a nice hotel which over the last year has had investment put into it and you can see that with a lot of the rooms
Pool is a little drab, gym could do with a little more equipment if room is made - probably need new bathrobes

Comfortable stay with great facilities.
Fantastic pool, gym, sauna and spa facilities. Perfect for rainy days! The room was comfortable with a wonderful view of the garden. There was a nicely fitted en-suite bathroom with a heated towel rail. Robes and slippers are supplied as well as tea, coffee and biscuits.
The kettle needed updating and some of the sockets were unreliable.
